“Kōan” in Zen philosophy is a question that has no logical solution; its goal is to break the standard patterns of thought and introduce itself into a sudden consciousness of illumination. González Palma’s visual exploration, Kōan, is composed of three series. Astrofotografía collages translate photographs of comets, the moon, and solar eclipses from the archive of the Astronomical Observatory of Córdoba, AR, the first stie to register images of space in the Southern Cone.
