The Psychedelic Forest is sublime- beautiful and terrifying. Van Coller first recorded these images while on expedition to document rare and endangered birds. Using old and new methods of manipulation- long exposures and digital editing- he pushed these works to a space that more accurately meets the sensory awe inspired by place.
