These times require something extraordinary from all of us. The words of Theodore Roosevelt come to mind:

“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”

To maintain our solace and yours, jdc will continue to operate as a site for art virtually and physically. Out of consideration for a community hungry for safe interactions and discoveries, we have and will continue to adapt our programming. We have bolstered our online viewership experience for all Patrons. Locally, we hope to be a safe space for community engagement: we are creating enhanced window displays, exhibiting large prints, and launching a video initiative, “Through the Glass” early. All these experiences are designed to be enjoyed from outside the space.

These gunpowder prints are explosive. By weaponizing her photographs, Badach speaks to the power images have in society in a smart and arresting way.
