Description of the book:

Jared Soares and Matt Eich are both known for their intimate studies on families and communities across the United States of America. This limited-run (250 copies) hardcover volume puts their work in dialog as it describes spaces and objects that are shaped by unseen forces. As the miasma of social media begins to fracture contemporary society, they find solace in turning their gaze away from the maddening crowd. Instead the photographers have created a record of these surroundings informed through their own series of quiet observations and meditations culled from years of travels across the nation. Their project covers themes which speak to a growing disillusionment, a loss of innocence, and a sense of foreboding that allude to the current condition in their backyard.
