In 2013, Tatiana Parcero began a series of Mudra prints. The intimate works incorporate astrological maps and the Artist’s own hand in different yoga gestures. This open-hand is powerful yet soft; it is open, receiving, and supportive. An antique celestial map overlaying the hand shows our solar system. The sun, being central, rests at the center of the palm.
