Sheila With Red Hair

by Marjorie Salvaterra

Exhibition Dates:  June 11 - August 13, 2016

Artist's Reception:  Saturday, June 18 | 6-8 pm | RSVP Required

Marjorie Salvaterra's work is surreal.  It unfolds like stills in a series on women under the stress of "supposed to be.'  The work is about the emotional toll of maintaining a straight-seamed, buttoned-up life in a traditional American Household.  Through jest, Salvaterra's Sheila's expose the emotional cost of appearing perfect.
